María  Egurrola

Industrial Engineer–Specialist in corporate social responsibility

Born in San Juan del Cesar, she became Miss Colombia at 17 and has since focused on supporting vulnerable communities. She has worked with companies like RCN TV and Club El Nogal, and since 2014, has served as co-founder and board member of the Prosowa.

Martha Duque

Business Administrator 

Martha is a Business Administrator at the University of Medellín. She spent 25 years in leadership roles in New York and now volunteers with the Prosowa Foundation, supporting health initiatives in Alta Guajira. Her work reflects a deep commitment to community service and social impact.

Esteban Neiva

Marketing and International Business

Esteban is a marketing and international business professional with an emphasis in PNL, has extensive commercial experience, and is an expert in digital and social marketing. He is a member of Prosowa in Colombia and volunteer since 2015. 

Leonardo Castillo

Business Administrator

Leonardo is over 20 years of international experience. He leads Vlixes, teaches at top Colombian universities, and co-authored The Strategic Process. He has worked with major companies across the Americas and holds advanced degrees in business from institutions in Spain and Peru.

Pilar Verú

Political scientist and educator by profession. She served as Vice-Chancellor of the East Side High Bilingual Education Program at Newark Public Schools for five years. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Prosowa Foundation.

Philosophy

Colombian entrepreneur and executive manager of La Sierra Coffee Roasters. As director, he leads initiatives that promote sustainable coffee production and community development.

Juan Arango

Attorney

Attorney with a Master’s in Administrative Law and a strong background in public service. He has held key roles at Coldeportes and currently works as a litigation attorney in Colombia.

Isabella Canal

Volunteer

 

Volunteer with a background in Biochemistry and a Master’s student in Nutrition at Columbia University. Isabel researches anorexia nervosa and supports the Colombian community abroad through cultural and academic initiatives. Her work bridges science and service with a focus on improving lives.

Alejandro Samper

Volunteer

Civil Engineering and Architecture student at Columbia University in New York. He currently serves as president of the student group Columbia for Colombia, through which academic, cultural and philanthropic events are organized to support different efforts of the Colombian community in New York. 

Juan Guzman

Volunteer

Juan José studies Economics and Sustainable Development at Columbia University in New York. Originally from Bogotá, Juan José focuses his work on promoting and taking advantage of the opportunities that exist at the intersection of economics, finance, and sustainability.
